Job Requirements:  

• Lead the complete proposal cycle from inquiry review to final submission.
• Interpret customer specifications and translate them into clear engineering and commercial requirements.
• Participate in customer needs analysis and value-added solution discussions to help shape specification and scope.
• Develop technically optimized and commercially competitive solutions.
• Coordinate regionally between customers and Product Centers on technical-commercial matters to ensure alignment and smooth tendering processes.
• Prepare cost calculations, pricing recommendations and full proposal documentation.
• Support Sales Managers & Business Development Managers in technical-commercial meetings and negotiations.
• Collect and communicate market intelligence, competitor activities and technology trends relevant to customer solutions and proposals.
• Ensure proposals follow quality standards, governance, approval workflows and risk assessments. 
  
  

Required Qualifications 

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering with technical exposure.
• 5-8 years’ experience in proposals, application engineering, sales engineering, or tendering roles.
• Strong understanding of compressor systems, rotating equipment, or energy/industrial solutions.
• Experience in upstream & FPSO projects for compression systems, is required.
• Excellent English communication skills. Able to read, write & speak good Mandarin is essential.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple proposals.
• Experience working with SAP and structured governance processes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Outgoing, proactive and motivated to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Assertive and self‑driven, able to work independently and in teams. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Solution‑driven, resilient and comfortable navigating technical complexity. Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Job Requirements:  

• Provide mechanical technical service installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, overhauls and modernization for engines and turbochargers manufactured by the company and affiliated companies on seagoing vessels and power plants.
• Provide mechanical technical advice; provide training and service program information including follow-up to previously visited vessels as well as engine related support to our customers.
• Trouble shooting and pinpointing of mechanical failures of two-stroke and four-stroke engines
• Performing of repairs and execution of retrofits on existing installations
• Advising of repairs mechanical wise
• Create service report on executed works with final conclusion
• Professional / technical development
• Attend engine quay trial and sea trials according to procedures to ensure engine performs as designed
• Sub-con engine follow up at shipyards
• Performs other duties as assigned  
  
  

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in marine or mechanical engineering or related engineering field. 5 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Malaysian nationality only, must possess Sabahan ID
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems in diesel engines
• Deep knowledge of 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines and possibly turbochargers and propellers
• Team player; able to maintain good relations with colleagues and customers
• Experienced in working independently
• Experienced and able to handle intensive travelling via car, train, plane, launch boat, and in extreme cases on helicopter in short notice

• Support spare parts business in PS Marine (Augsburg) segment in APAC region
• Creation and maintenance of material master data, creation of spare part lists
• Identification of spare parts in the sector of engine, plant and turbo
• Creation of offers and orders, technical processing service
• Communication with sub-suppliers during offer preparation
• Collaboration in projects and optimization within plant and engine
• Handle correspondence with customers and respective colleagues
• Undertake any and all others duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior 
  

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering and/or Business and/or related discipline
• Min. of 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to speak and understand German as the spare part lists will be in German language
• Knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke engines
• Experience in the marine/ shipping industry
• Good proficient of English language
• Methodical & pays attention to detail
• Team Player –Approachable, cooperative & friendly
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities and tasks:  

Strategy

• Identify Market trends, market drivers and unique selling preposition for revamps/footprints in alignment with IGC/Hub FrontEnd  Sales team to prioritize markets/customers/products
  Develop regional strategy for complex projects
• Monitor and follow-up on strategy implementation actions. Adjust as needed to secure sustainable complex project business.
• Systematic fleet analysis for standard ”revamps” such as I&C upgrades and barrel revamps etc.
• Plan and support marketing related activities (roadshow, TurboForum, PRACTICE visits) for complex projects as part of IGC marketing plan

Sales

• Lead Pre-Bid Phase (identify lead, develop value preposition, budgetary quote, Bid/no-bid decision). First Contact for complex projects queries in the region
• Provides value based target pricing and challenge cost estimates and performance to ensure positive customer business case (ROI)
• Authorized and responsible for Go/no-Go and Bid/no-Bid decision in alignment with PC
• Organizes and supports quotations on local IGC scope (if needed takes lead)
• Regional coordination between IGC, CoC and PC
• Funnel management
• Approval- and signature competence within the rules and regulations
• Technical Sales training and guidance of FrontEnd Sales teams in IGC/Hubs

Project Management

• Oversees the Project Management for complex projects
• Ensures proper project management set-up with clear DoR between IGC & PC is in place and matches contractual obligations
• Selects the process to be followed

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
  Commercial Background preferably MBA
• Extensive knowledge on retrofit and footprint portfolio of MAN ES PrimeServ Industries
• Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
• This position is based in Shanghai, China.
