Everllence Malaysia serves as the regional sales, service, and engineering hub for Southeast Asia – overing Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Philippines. Operating from our key location in Kuala Lumpur, with additional offices in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, we support a wide range of industrial sectors including petrochemical, oil & gas, and refining.

In addition to industrial applications, our teams also provide expertise and support for other product lines such as marine propulsion, power generation, and future energy solutions.

Everllence Energy Solutions Malaysia is the sales, service and engineering hub for the South East Asian countries in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar & Philippines for industries sectors. We also provide support for other product lines in marine, power, oil & gas and new solutions.

Job Requirements:  

  • Provide after sales service and technical support to customers, by attending day-to-day inquiries, large quotes (bulk) and orders.
  • Cooperate with relevant departments both in-house and in HQ to ensure the technical validity of quotes and orders
  • Ensure tasks related to sales process is followed, including related administrative tasks
  • Gather technical documentation from engine builders/ customers to ensure correct spare parts are quoted/ offered
  • Ensure technical data/information for assigned customers/ vessels are up-to-date in the systems
  • Build and maintain optimal relations with customers, HQ & IGC

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Degree in engineering or relevant technical Diploma with related working experience
  • Knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke engines
  • Experience in the marine/ shipping industry
  • Excellent English language skills both speaking and writing
  • Ability to work independently as well as participate and work as part of a team
  • Focused and with an good understanding of customer service and customer centricity
  • Experience with SAP/R3 and SAP processes
  • Thrive in a dynamic, changing and fast paced environment
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Able to handle multiple cases simultaneously

Responsibilities and tasks:  

Strategy

  • Identify Market trends, market drivers and unique selling preposition for revamps/footprints in alignment with IGC/Hub FrontEnd  Sales team to prioritize markets/customers/products
    Develop regional strategy for complex projects
  • Monitor and follow-up on strategy implementation actions. Adjust as needed to secure sustainable complex project business.
  • Systematic fleet analysis for standard ”revamps” such as I&C upgrades and barrel revamps etc.
  • Plan and support marketing related activities (roadshow, TurboForum, PRACTICE visits) for complex projects as part of IGC marketing plan

 

Sales

  • Lead Pre-Bid Phase (identify lead, develop value preposition, budgetary quote, Bid/no-bid decision). First Contact for complex projects queries in the region
  • Provides value based target pricing and challenge cost estimates and performance to ensure positive customer business case (ROI)
  • Authorized and responsible for Go/no-Go and Bid/no-Bid decision in alignment with PC
  • Organizes and supports quotations on local IGC scope (if needed takes lead)
  • Regional coordination between IGC, CoC and PC
  • Funnel management
  • Approval- and signature competence within the rules and regulations
  • Technical Sales training and guidance of FrontEnd Sales teams in IGC/Hubs

 

Project Management

  • Oversees the Project Management for complex projects
  • Ensures proper project management set-up with clear DoR between IGC & PC is in place and matches contractual obligations
  • Selects the process to be followed

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
    Commercial Background preferably MBA
  • Extensive knowledge on retrofit and footprint portfolio of MAN ES PrimeServ Industries
  • Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
  • This position is based in Shanghai, China.
