Being one of the oldest industrial companies in the world, we have decided to focus all our energy on industrial decarbonization. We at Everllence are already known worldwide for our solutions focused on reducing climate-damaging emissions in shipping, energy generation and industrial processes.

This is now reflected by changing our name from MAN Energy Solutions to Everllence.

What does the name Everllence stand for?

We have been writing industrial history since the dawn of industry, but our focus has always been on the future.  

EVER also contains FIRST EVER – the invention and development of new solutions and technologies, the engineering and pioneering spirit that has always characterized us.

From the invention of the first diesel engine, driving the first power plant and ocean-going ship, to the first subsea compressor that operates at a depth of 300m on the seabed or the first large heat pump to replace a coal-fired power plant – the FIRST EVER is in our DNA.

The pursuit of EXCELLENCE drives and motivates us. Our ambition is to achieve the highest standards at every stage of the value chain — or to set entirely new standards.

The strategic turning point

In 2018, we took a pivotal step: transitioning from MAN Diesel & Turbo to MAN Energy Solutions. This was more than a rebranding – it marked the beginning of a new era, one that placed decarbonization and efficiency at the center of our business. Our strategy "Moving Big Things to Zero" emerged from this transformation. Together with our customers, we want to achieve net zero by 2050 by offering products that reduce emissions.  

Seven years later, our strategy has proven successful. We have significantly broadened our portfolio and global presence. Today, we are also a leading provider of large-scale heat pumps, electrolyzers for hydrogen production, carbon capture and storage technologies, and climate-neutral engines – solutions that play a crucial role in achieving net-zero targets. The change to the name Everllence represents the next step in this strategic journey.
