Environmental responsibility demands that we minimize the carbon footprint associated with both installation and operation. To meet the goal of carbon neutrality, vessels need reliable engines that are clean and highly efficient: Operators’ reputations depend on them. Our methanol-ready engines perform as efficiently as the conventional-fuel versions, but running on green methanol cuts carbon emissions by 95% and sulfur emissions by 90%. The methanol retrofit option means you have a low-emission, high-efficiency engine that will, in the future, take your offshore wind farm vessels close to net zero. 

Whichever fuel they are running on, Everllence methanol-ready four-stroke engines have the lowest CO2 emissions on the market for that fuel. This ensures your wind turbine installation ships will comply with the latest regulations. 

Everllence engines are designed and built with a long time between overhauls (TBO) to keep your business running smoothly. The proven 32/44CR (former MAN 32/44CR) is a multipurpose drive. Using it as main and auxiliary engine brings many operational advantages. The highly efficient common rail injection and turbochargers ensure best-in-class specific fuel oil consumption (SFOC) and low operating costs. With its quick load response, the 175D (former MAN 175D) allows safe maneuvering in the harshest environments. The engine meets emissions standards without compromising on efficiency or performance.

L21/31 Mk2 GenSet

L21/31 Mk2 (former MAN L21/31 Mk2) GenSets deliver reliable and HFO- / biofuel-based auxiliary power. They operate at the lowest possible accumulated costs during their entire life cycle and therefore represent a safe investment.

L21/31DF-M GenSet

This methanol-fuelled L21/31 (former MAN L21/31) GenSet is a compact and reliable power source designed to run on methanol, heavy fuel oil (HFO), and most biofuels.

With its outstanding load-step capabilities and extremely long time between overhauls (TBOs), it is ideal for many different applications. It is also a perfect match for the Everllence B&W ME-LGIM (former MAN B&W ME-LGIM) methanol two-stroke engine.

L27/38 (former MAN L27/38) units are characterized by reliable HFO- / biofuel-based GenSet power, delivered at the lowest possible accumulated costs during an entire lifecycle. The GenSet represents a safe investment for container vessels.
