Performance meets simplicity: Turbochargers for ships

Everllence marine turbochargers

Everllence (former MAN Energy Solutions) has a long and successful track record in the development of exhaust gas turbochargers for low, medium, and high-speed diesel and gas engines. Drawing on our unrivalled expertise in the design and manufacture of this crucial engine component, we can offer you world-leading technology that helps you maximize the efficiency of your operations.

Everllence turbocharger systems are designed to deliver peak performance throughout their working lives – in some of the harshest conditions encountered anywhere in the world. This is achieved by combining three elements: simplicity, flexibility, and reliability. For example, we develop and build our turbochargers to make installation, operation, servicing, and maintenance as easy and efficient as possible. This reduces your initial capital investment and results in lower lifecycle costs.

Due to high prices and sustainability restrictions, ship owners and operators are looking at ways of reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Our turbocharger technologies are committed to help you achieve your goals.

Our range of turbochargers

Find your perfect fit

TCP (former MAN TCP)

The TCP series of radial turbochargers is ready for the future with enhanced performance and efficiency, achieving maximum pressure ratios of up to 7.

  • 800 to 5,800 kW
TCF (former MAN TCF)

Making the most of optimized flow, the TCF radial turbocharger offers a big potential to use smaller or fewer turbochargers, delivering an impressive 20% increase in specific flow.

  • 1,000 to 7,200 kW
TCT (former MAN TCT)

The TCT is specifically designed for IMO Tier III two-stroke engines. The latest axial turbocharger generation offers significant downsizing combined with easier maintenance and higher charging efficiency.

  • 7,500 to 24,030 kW
TCA (former MAN TCA)

TCA turbochargers are high-performance solutions characterized by simple maintenance and long overhaul intervals.

  • 5,400 to 32,400 kW
TCR (former MAN TCR)

The latest generation of TCR turbochargers offers reduced size and weight while delivering greater efficiency, performance, and reliability.

  • 600 to 6,850 kW
ETB (former MAN ETB)

Everllence’s ETB is explicitly designed for EcoEGR applications where the blower will run continuously in both Tier III and Tier II Eco mode. This results in a compact and cost-optimized design with highest availability.

  • 1,000 to 7,200 kW
TCX (former MAN TXC)

With the TCX series, Everllence has developed a turbocharger that is especially suited to two-stage turbocharging of four-stroke diesel and gas engines.

  • 8,500 to 23,300 kW
ECOCHARGE (former MAN ECOCHARGE)

As a compact two-stage unit, the Everllence ECOCHARGE delivers outstanding turbocharging efficiency. A variety of product types and sizes are available, ensuring the perfect turbocharger-to-engine fit.

Higher scavenging air pressure and efficiency allow improved Miller timing, enabling compliance with IMO Tier III emissions legislation.

  • Lower specific fuel oil consumption (SFOC)
  • Lower exhaust emissions (NOx)
  • Compact design
  • Improved dynamic response

VTA (former MAN VTA)

The VTA (variable turbine area) turbocharger allows charge air delivery to be optimized for the charge air demand precisely, seamlessly, and continuously at all engine loads and speeds.

  • Reduced consumption
  • Reduced emissions
  • Easy application
