When pipeline transport isn’t viable, liquefied natural gas (LNG) provides a cost-efficient alternative. By cooling natural gas to -161 °C, its volume is reduced significantly for easy storage and shipment

Scope of workSupply of t hree integrally geared fuel gas booster compressors (RG35-4) , including fixed-speed electric motor drives, oil unit and dry gas seal (DGS) rack. Scope also covered a complete valve skid and gas cooler with interconnecting piping, as well as an N₂ generator including the control system.

The concept for the Mallnow station, provides for waste heat from the gas turbine driven units to be used to operate an additional steam turbine unit. This increases the station’s aggregate output by almost a quarter without consuming additional energy.

Scope of work Supply of gas storage compressor systems comprising two tandem HOFIM® RB 45-5 + RB 45-5 units and one tandem HOFIM® RB 35-5 + RB 35-5 unit . The scope includes hermetically sealed units designed for export gas service, delivering power ratings of 2 × 14,000 kW and 1 × 7,500 kW at operating speeds up to 11,429 rpm.
