We can offer you the following tasks:
- Visit customers, including ship owners, operators, shipyards, ship management companies and power plants on a regular basis and proactively trying to build and promote relationships with them.
- Proactively identify business opportunities for Everllence engine and generator set products, develop and execute strategic proposals and follow through to fruition.
- Develop new customers from own sources / market information.
- Must display adequate technical knowledge of practical applications in the industrial markets.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully cold call potential conquest customers and market partners
- Great interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills with customers and team member
- Knowledge of diesel, natural gas engine, generator operation, and function plus field application
- Provide technical consultation and support to clients before, during, and after the sales process.
- High level of empathy to listen to and understand customer concerns
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Familiarize, understand and implement safety, and environment policy, procedures, legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility
You can help us with these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the marine or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of marine propulsion systems, engines, and related technologies.
- Fluent with all forms of computer technology with above average skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, & Windows
