First Everllence-badged engine leaves Augsburg plant
Brand transition at product level marks another milestone in rebranding process
The first engine featuring the Everllence logo has left the company’s Augsburg plant, representing another visible step for Everllence since the company’s renaming from MAN Energy Solutions on June 4, 2025. After almost a year of transition, all locations have produced their first product under the new brand.
Martin Oetjen – COO at Everllence – said: “This milestone is more than a new logo on an engine, rather it shows how we are transferring our new identity into our daily work and onto our products. A significant effort in manufacturing and across the supply chain lies behind this as thousands of components carry our logo – whether cast, engraved or laser-marked.”
Thousands of components, one new brand
Introducing the new branding required extensive adjustments, including – among others – new material numbers for visibly branded components, modified production workstations for engraving and laser marking, and the conversion of cast parts.
The company used a digital process to identify and track all branded components throughout the entire supply chain. Additionally, particularly prominent components with visible logos were redesigned by engineering. To ensure the keeping of delivery dates, the company closely coordinated procurement and production lead-times and scheduled the rollout of the first engine accordingly.
The company’s rebranding
The production transition is part of Everllence’s global rebranding, which represents the next step in implementing the company strategy ‘Moving big things to zero’. With this strategy, Everllence is aligning its business toward solutions that reduce hard-to-abate emissions in shipping, power generation and industry.
To this end, the company offers technologies ranging from marine and power-plant engines for climate-neutral fuels and retrofit solutions to large-scale heat pumps and CO₂-capture systems. Manufacturing in Augsburg plays a central role: it for decades of engine expertise and as a key site in Everllence’s global production network.
