Standardized CCUS

From cement to chemicals, from power generators to refineries: large carbon footprints are a challenge for heavy industries. Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) lowers emissions, reduces spending on CO2 certificates, and helps companies demonstrate social responsibility. You can even benefit from heat or power recovery by using our Carbon Capture Heat Recovery technology (CCHR®) for your carbon capture process or by turning CO2 from waste into a resource by our utilization technologies. Everllence CCUS uses standardized components to build modular compression systems for all available capture technologies. Our approach reduces project complexity and lead times, mitigates risks, and keeps down CAPEX.

How you benefit from standardized CCUS

Configurable compression solutions from the global leader

Standardized components and modular systems are going to play a key role is in scaling up CCUS. This white paper not only explores the market situation but shows you how reducing the number of compressor parts which need to be individually specified reduces your capital expenditure and operating costs. You can also check out a reference case from the cement industry.

High quality makes us the world leaders in the CCUS compression market for high-flow, high-pressure systems. You can count on more than 30 years of experience, with more than one million hours of operation and over 200 million tons of compressed CO2.
Our multi-shaft integrally geared compressors feature selectable impeller speed, optimized pinion speeds and different compressor sections in one casing. This ensures the highest efficiency with adaptability to your specific needs.
Modularization reduces CAPEX without compromising on efficiency. Using standard pre-manufactured components means we can optimize supply chains and reduce project engineering, cutting lead times and reducing costs.
Standardized components mean easier maintenance. Our Everllence PrimeServ service engineers can provide predictive maintenance, assist in troubleshooting, and get your facilities up and running in no time.
Reducing the number of parts, which need to be individually specified, can lead to increased reliability and easier maintenance of compressor systems. Standardized components are easier to replace and maintain, as they are more readily available and service needs could be optimized.

Modular system with standardized components

Every Everllence CCUS compressor solution is different but, with our modular system, we can answer the individual needs of different types of industrial plants. We offer best-in-class standardized components in every area of the CO2 value chain.

For capture we have our RG type compressor for a lot of capture technologies and especially with heat recovery for amine treatment. The same integrally geared type compressor is used for CO2 transportation via pipelines, CO2 liquefaction, and sequestration. We also provide further process components and turbo solutions such as closed water-cooling loops and process solutions with heat and power recovery.

Experience and expertise

To reduce the complexity of a CCUS project you need a reliable partner with the experience and expertise to implement it effectively. We have learnt to develop the best solutions in carbon compression projects for cement, hydrogen & derivatives, and bioenergy & ethanol.

Cutting emissions from cement production is not just ecologically responsible but makes economic sense. Our modular packages with standardized components are readily available and simple to integrate, reducing lead times by up to 30%, mitigating risks, and keeping down CAPEX.

Using pre-designed compressor modules allows us to integrate carbon capture into your chemical plant more flexibly and rapidly. Our modular components meet the flow and pressure requirements of different CO2 emitter sizes and transportation modes (gaseous, liquid, or supercritical).
Carbon capture provides a solution to rapidly reduce emissions from fossil-fueled power plants. Our flexible compressor modules quickly adapt to your conditions and our pre-assembled units reduce on-site installation times. Modularization reduces CAPEX without compromising on efficiency.
CCUS can help to rapidly reduce the carbon footprint of a refinery. We use standardized components for modularized compressor technology within the purification process to improve energy consumption and life-cycle costs.
