LGIM Cooler Pipes
Adaptive cooling

Optimized cooling system for Everllence B&W (former MAN B&W) two-stroke engines with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). 

With Adaptive Cooling, the coolant flow automatically adapts according to the engine running mode, thereby reducing power consumption of the cooling system when running in Tier II or TC cut-out mode. This option is available for EGRBP and EGRTC systems.

This is a new scavenge air cooler design that enables utilization of the energy from the scavenge air cooling process for other energy-consuming processes on board. This method allows reducing energy consumption for increasing boiler feed water temperature, gas vaporization, freshwater production, air condition heating, organic Rankine cycle system, and ballast water treatment system.

PMI Adaptive Cylinder Control (ACCo)
PMI ACCo is a fully automatic system that ensures low fuel consumption with savings of up to 1 g/kWh. It adjusts the fuel index and exhaust valve operation of each cylinder through a patented closed loop algorithm. The option is available for the Everllence B&W ME-B and more compact Everllence B&W ME-C two-stroke engines.

Everllence Asset+ solutions are added functionalities for your engine, which tailor it better for a particular purpose or task. The specific Everllence Asset+ solution depends on your ship and engine. With the right choice, you enhance the performance and increase the energy efficiency onboard. Benefits include reduced fuel consumption and optimized power take-off possibilities. 

Everllence Asset+ solutions contribute to achieving a lower EEDI in different ways for different engines and ships. For instance, for ships with a large energy consumption onboard, the Two-stage Cooler will help reuse energy from the scavenge air cooling process for other purposes. For ships built with a shaft generator, the power take-off can be increased when applying PTO interface option C.

Everllence Asset+ solutions play a key role in improving the CII by implementing energy-saving features, which are particularly valuable for specific engines. For ships with main engines equipped with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), Adaptive Cooling will significantly reduce the energy consumption used for cooling when sailing in Tier II areas.
