Sail into a carbon-free future with dual-fuel conversions

Future-ready decarbonization: Everllence PrimeServ's dual-fuel conversions

Decarbonization, greater efficiency, and alternative E-fuels are just some of the benefits our advanced retrofit solutions provide. Whether you operate tankers, container vessels, or offshore units, a dual-fuel conversion for your ship can significantly reduce emissions and fuel costs. Everllence PrimeServ continuously develops and delivers retrofit products and solutions, enabling the existing fleet to meet current and future environmental regulations — while allowing vessels to run on alternative fuels such as LNG, ammonia, and methanol.

Dual-fuel conversions for marine applications

For decades, Everllence engines have been the backbone of the marine industries. Times are changing fast, which is why we are supporting our customers’ journey to decarbonization with cost-effective dual-fuel conversions that deliver performance and flexibility only the original engine designer can provide.

Marine two-stroke

Increasingly strict limits on two-stroke vessel emissions have given rise to new solutions for greener maritime operations. For example, E-fuels have now become a truly viable bunker fuel option, paving the way for dual-fuel systems that meet environmental legislation.
LNG, ethane, and LPG fuels reduce air pollution significantly while methanol has a net-zero CO₂ emission footprint. And with green ammonia coming to the market, you will be able to switch to 100% carbon-free fuels with Everllence.

Since any Everllence ME-C engine with a bore size of at least 50 can be converted for dual-fuel operation, more than 4,500 vessels could potentially be retrofitted to run on new alternative fuels like LNG, ethane, LPG, methanol and ammonia. This includes the ability to convert a conventional diesel engine to LNG, enabling significantly cleaner operation without replacing the entire system.
