Low-Pressure Gas Compression for Export on ExxonMobil's New FPSO in Guyana
Everllence was selected to supply four radial barrel compressor packages for ExxonMobil’s seventh FPSO in Guyana, a project developed by MODEC. The scope includes two low-pressure gas compressors and two export gas compressors, designed to support efficient gas handling and export operations on the vessel.
For the Hammerhead 2025 project, Everllence will provide four compression packages to ensure reliable gas compression for both low-pressure gas recovery and gas export. The compressors will be electrically driven: the low-pressure compressors will operate with variable frequency drives (VFDs) to allow operational flexibility, while the export compressors will operate at fixed speed for stable export conditions.
